Let’s uncover the reason why our society is dying young at an unprecedented rate. Let’s be honest with ourselves about our role in our own health and welfare.
I want to help you open your eyes to how you can overcome being overweight or obese, or help someone you know and love to do the same and prevent the suffering and early death from disease.
Here’s something to think about:
Why do commercial farmers feed their cows, chickens, turkeys, and pigs an unnatural diet?
Because it saves money and makes them fatter.
Could it be because they are eating a cheap and unnatural SAD diet full of high fat animal products?
We need to wake up and make the connection.
We are in an obesity CRISIS!
Obesity means having too much body fat. Obesity should NOT look “normal” to us. Obesity is not something to be casual about, it is serious. Obesity related conditions include heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, cancer, arthritis, and a slew of other “less serious” forms of disease and sickness. Factors that contribute to obesity are lifestyle and diet related. Eating high fat foods contributes to weight gain and obesity. This is preventable people!
Take a look at yourBody Mass Index (BMI). Body mass index is a reliable indicator of body fatness and is used to screen for weight categories that may lead to health problems. If your BMI is higher than 25 you are overweight. If your BMI is higher than 30 you are obese. This is not subjective or case by case. This is physiological truth. We need to take an honest look at our weight and our health. We have to stop lying to ourselves just because our society is becoming desensitized to the problem, and trying to cover it up with a band-aid.
If you want to live the best life you can as a healthier happier person, you need to be honest about your lifestyle and diet.
The truth is that it’s not easy to know what to do. There is so much conflicting, vague information out there, even for the most conscious and honest health seeker. The truth is that all these “diet gurus” are just making money selling us books and products that say good things about our bad habits. We need to wake up and look at what we are doing to our health!
There is no such thing as being healthy on an unnatural diet of refined, processed, high fat foods. There is no such thing as being healthy living off unnatural stimulants like caffeine from coffee & energy drinks, or tobacco, and other drugs.
Stop feeding your precious body cheeseburgers and fries, cookies and cakes, ice cream and candy bars! Stop feeding your beautiful organism sodas and caffeinated, sugary drinks, and unnatural processed shakes and pills. Start feeding your body natures perfect food for the human body: whole, fresh, ripe, raw, organic fruits and vegetables.
The truth is that if we eat enough carbohydrates from sweet ripe fruit, and get enough sleep, we can stop being dependent on unhealthy stimulants and start living a vibrantly energetic life.
The truth is that if we eat a diet full of low fat, whole, natural, delicious fruits and vegetables, our bodies will naturally slim down to a normal, attractive, healthy size.
It’s honestly and truthfully that simple! 🙂
No expensive gimmicks, no fancy protein powders, no pills, no potions. Just fresh, ripe, raw fruits and vegetables.
On the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website, they say, “Healthy Weight – it’s not a diet, it’s a lifestyle!”, and that is absolutely true. You can’t sit and think that eating one apple a day will keep the doctor away. It’s simply not enough. Eating a few pieces of fruit does not negate the junk you’ve consumed around it. You have to commit to being healthy, and that means by regularly putting healthful things into your body, and treating your body with care every day by following healthful lifestyle practices. These include but are not limited to: eating fresh fruits and vegetables at every meal, getting at least 8 hours of sleep every night, drinking at least 2 liters of water every day, getting sunshine and fresh air, making a connection with the earth, exercising adequately, and feeding your needs for physical, emotional, and spiritual relationships.
The truth is: You CAN change your life. You CAN be healthier and happier. The only thing preventing that from being your reality is YOU. The truth about obesity is that you have the power to change it. Nothing can stop you but your own self doubt and excuses.
I don’t want you to think that this is all the same mumbo jumbo you’ve heard before. Will all of your ailments magically disappear? No. Will you become a perfect and ageless? No. But can this lifestyle and diet give you the best health and vitality you’ve EVER had? ABSOLUTELY YES!
Start strong and get motivated, learn about the amazing benefits of eating more fruit.
I hope you can be inspired and motivated to learn more healthful truth and improve your own health by eating more fruits and vegetables.
Question to ask yourself: What am I teaching my children? Childhood obesity rates are growing at an unprecedented rate. Never forget you are their role model. They will learn by watching you. Will you teach them to cherish their bodies or to trash them?
